The ICT Services Unit regularly conducts the preventive maintenance of all computer units in the campus to minimize breakdown, maintain satisfactory equipment conditions and improve the reliability of equipment.

Onsite visit and perform Preventive Maintenance
IT Technician
The IT technician will visit the identified office for the conduct of preventive maintenance. Perform the preventive maintenance to PC but not limited to the following: checking System Boot, System Log-in, Network Settings, Computer Hardware Settings, Browser/Proxy Settings, Proper Software loads, Viruses, and malware, Clearance, Interiors, and cleaning, Peripheral devices

Signing and attaching of Preventive Maintenance sticker to the equipment
IT Technician
The IT technician shall attach a sticker to the equipment, sign and write the date and time of inspection. In case a sticker is already available to the equipment the technician will just sign and fill-up the sticker.

End User’s Confirmation
End-user
Once the preventive maintenance is done the end-user of the PC will have to sign the conforme found at the bottom of the checklist for confirmation.
Review and Monitoring
IT Officer
The IT Officer will review the filled-up preventive maintenance checklist and sign the form to attest that the activity was conducted.
Recording
Document Controller
The document controller will gather all preventive maintenance checklist and prepare a report.
